About Chloe
The story of Chloe... Back when my husband and I lived in Santa Monica and about a year before our move to New Mexico. Somewhat out of the blue, I was struck by an epiphany one day and the name "Chloe" stuck in my head. At the time I was planning on having a daughter and naming her Chloe. Upon our move to New Mexico I went to the Petsmart to purchase some Beta's and there, in a crate (the very first crate of a long row of dogs up for adoption and the first adoptable do I came across after our move) sat Chloe!
Meet Chloe,
she's our little girl and much more affordable than college tuition! She was rescued by New Mexico Animal Friends.
Found wandering the mesa, and in terrible condition, she was about 2 years
old, scared, starved, not potty trained or trained at all for that matter, and in desperate need of a family. It took
some time but all of that's in the past now. She's a fabulous dog--
smart, happy, polite and shy at times, she goes almost everywhere with
us! When she can't, she enjoys time with our sitters who are her extended family.
Very
eager to please, Chloe is a go-getter, and quite the goof ball. A very
loving and adventurous soul, she loves to run, sniff, swim, play, roll
in the grass, get tummy rubs, and give lots of kisses. She loves Colorado, and since
our move here she’s been participating in off leash adventure hikes with her
buddies from Trail-Waggers.
We've
recently discovered one of her many gifts. She delights in making the rounds to
our retired neighbors and checking in with everyone. It's our goal to
get her Therapy Dog certified one day so that she can work as often as
she'd like.
Chloe is a great source of happiness, destined to be with us and our own personal shining angel!
