Jamey has a huge heart and is a natural when it comes to
animals. He has many years of experience as a pet sitter (his clients rave about him) and is patient, nurturing, caring and hard-working. He has cared for an extremely wide variety of animals
including: dogs, cats, ferrets, birds,
fish, turtles, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, snakes, lizards, and
horses.
Jamey has always had a special connection with animals and
has rarely met one that was scared of or didn't like him, and vice versa. He believes animals have a "sixth
sense" when it comes to people and will usually let you know if something
or someone isn't "right".
Born in Virginia but raised in the Denver area since he was
7, Jamey calls Denver his home town. He has a
variety of interests and when he’s not pet sitting, he works for himself as a
part-time entrepreneur and consultant/contractor. He has experience working for a Career Coaching comapny and has served 6 years as
a member of the U.S. Air Force and Colorado Air National Guard at Buckley Air
Force Base in Aurora, CO, with an honorable discharge in 2003.
Jamey enjoys spending time with his beautiful and
loving 8 year old black lab mix named Whitney. He enjoys
participating in a wide variety of sports and outdoor activities, watching
movies, playing poker, skiing, camping, hiking and enjoying time with friends
and family. He is now returning to college after a 12-year absence to complete the final 14 credits of a B.S. degree in Business/Information Systems.
He is an avid Denver Broncos
and Colorado Avalanche fan, but roots for just about all Colorado sports
teams (definitely a homer). He also enjoys reading, especially non-fiction such as biographies, and those involving
history, people, places, events, and science.
Additionally, he is a movie buff and has future aspirations of being involved in
film making in some capacity (writing, producing, directing, etc.), perhaps
even one day making a film about the exciting and glamorous world of pet
sitting!
