Pet CPR/ First Aid Certified, Mary Josephine Garland, “Aunt Mary Jo”, began sitting for Ali’s Angels after several years of sitting for friends and family. She has been caring for animals, whether hers or others for most of her life. Some of her pet sitting experience includes administration of diabetic injections, and pet sitting for a three legged American Bulldog Mastiff mix.
Mary Jo is wonderful with animals and has a natural gift of gentleness, ease and balance that animals immediately sense. She is a calming and nurturing presence as a pet sitter; beneficial to those she services. She enjoys working with animals any chance she gets and always goes above and beyond providing extra special care and attention.
Native to Colorado, Mary Jo currently resides in Lakewood. She has two dogs, “Snickers”, a Dachsund, Jack Russell mix and “Copernicus”, a Shih Tzu, Poodle mix. She also has a cat named “Scooby”. Qualities that Mary Jo admires are thoroughness, creativity and a sense of humor. Aside from pet sitting, she enjoys doing activities that involve working with the creative process including writing, film making and jewelry making.
